As users of AWS, we encounter friction when developing or operating our workloads. Some of this is healthy, some is infuriating and wasteful. Inspired by the outcomes of my Things I Wish I Knew When Starting With AWS presentation, I asked our user community to register their pain points, and together with my already substantial list, we collectively explored some new approaches, solutions and workarounds.
There was always more content than we could reasonably cover in our allotted time, so I include an excerpt from my presentation that covers much of what was discussed. I anticipate taking up the content we could not cover at a later date. Thanks to all who contributed and participated.
